Kaspersky is what I use mostly. Avira AV is excellent at detection rates but it has too many false positives, and that's not good when you sail the seven seas like me.

aaah coffee is nice, i enjoyed alot wid loafs like ths. Newt182 kaspersky has also false positive. * +

Every AV will have false positives, I was just saying that Avira has a lot. * +

I use Avira Internet Security 12 and it did pick up a few false possitives but not as much as McAfee or Kaspersky and AVG is terrible Worst has to be Pc Tools * +

avast is the best pirate partner even free version. it will give 3 option for false positives: remain to open normal, sandbox or remove * +

Avast AV built in sandbox whch help one to select an option of only executing a suspicious file whc many of them r harmless to u r pc. It is also best at detecting autoru - wgn (trojan/recycler) and move them to cheast. Avg 12 provide a miximu security of u r pc including a safe browsing. The problem is it has almost 29.9 mb to be updated. Veiwes and opinions r welcomed. * +
