I'm usin a acer 5315 my disc drive isn't visible, i uninstalled it from device manager it worked thn disappeared again. Wat else can i do? * +

remove the drive if you can, should be 1 or 2 screws under it on the bottom of the laptop, slide it out, and clean the contacts, the re-assemble. sounds like its losing the connection. * +
