i know i can change the proxy and port in which IE and FIREFOX and d rest connect to the internet with by setting dem appropriately in tools settings... But for generic windows update programs and other apps that connect to the internet without IE, how do I alter the ip, proxy sever, and port they connect with? And what are the correct terms? *

i simply searched from start button for proxy and I was able to edit d proxy for d commection with d inbuilt windows tool :D *
