using mobiles for tethering with a laptop went out with the dark ages, getting the two talk to each other is allways more problematic than a dongle and often throws a wobbly at some point in the future even when you manage to get it working.

I disagree in fact since the speed has increased and prices for data has come down its more popular than ever, I have over 5gb of data allowance on my phone each month the phone easily connects to a laptop or tablet through the personal hotspot via wifi, why but a dongle? * +

I agree never had a prob with using usb connection with my nokia and pc suite. Unlimited data and connection never drops. Although it is only used for browsing really, very satisfied with it. :) *
