what is the best cpu to use with this board? Heard it can take a hexcore processor, I'm assuming quad core though. Also if anyone knows the price range. In south african rands. I know the board supports DDR3 ram, but is also possible to use DDR2 ram. * +

I would have thought DDR3 is cheaper than DDR2. Obviously it is faster/better. * +

Yes, newt. Sorry, I failed to mention that I'm hoping to use the current ram in my computer which is DDR2. Going to put DDR3 in later when I got the bucks for it, unless of course the mainboard does not support it. Just hopefully need CPU, heatsink and bracket that heatsink attaches to * +

surely you can find a second hand shop to swop ypur ddr2 for ddr3. and yes ddr3 costs less. * +
