some how a spambot has got past my m.s.e and sending out spam when my pc is on. whats the best free software to get rid of it? * +

malwarebytes is also good at getting rid of stuff like that and its a free download * +

Linux is not immune to malware, it's just not targeted that much because it is not as popular as Windows. But in the last three years, there has been an alarming increase of malware affecting Linux and even Apple. * +
