since I upgraded to Win7 ultimate from premium, search from windows button has not been doing an in depth search like it was on premium.. Like I search for .avi and I get no result found! Considering over 100 avi videos i got.. Help * +

I googled your problem and it seems pretty common. There is some things you can do with the registry, but that can be a dangerous thing to do. I do see a lot of recommendations for using a third party program called Agent Ransack though. * +

Btw, the upgrade seems to cause registry errors. My best recommendation would to make a new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate Premium. After that you should make a repair disk before installing anything else or downloading any updates. * +

Use a 3rd party search engine namely 'Everything' and its a freeware.... It does way better than the win7 inbuilt one.... * +

there is no such thing called ultimate premium. Both r 2 diff versions. *
