my ipod classic has gone into disc mode, ok to disconnect. It is stuck on this page and the keys are not working or doing any function. I can't even turn it off. wat a machine...technology tut. I hardly use this ipod and then tonight I decide to and find this problem. Pls anybody, what can I do to fix this horrible unexpected problem? * +

i never had an ipod but i guess they have a power source, try removing the battery or whatever they have, then see will it refuse to turn off. it will most likely reset the system to its normal state. thats the only thing you can do anyway,i think. * +

u can't take the ipods apart as they need to be connected to pc to recharge n add electronic files of music * +

I will try connecting to the pc at work tmrw and see if this helps or changes things at all although the work pc don't have itunes * +
