Hi, i have a question. Yesterday i found the dvd tray of my compaq presario cq40 won't open after i used it to burn dvd data? And the last time it can be opened was when i used it to watch dvd movie, but it couldn't read the disc. Can you all help me please? * +

It is breaking after a long use of a dvd drive they usually break if its a remove the sata cable and join again otherwise there is a hole insert a pin or something to open no idea about a laptop * +

I actually have inserted a needle in the hole, but it still wont open. Ejecting through my computer also didn't work.. :( * +

did you try restarting your pc? if it still doesnt work, then you need a new drive * +

Use something stronger to manually open it , a needle is ok for reset switches but not good enough to push it open,, * +

A big safety pin should do but you should put it correctly push it until you click the button or press the eject button continusly or for a long time * +
