Ive got a advent netbook and all seems ok until i go online then after afew minutes it crashes with a blue screen then shuts down . Ive done a mem test and it says its ok , im running windows 7 on it but its ment to have win xp could this be the problem ? *

can't see that using win7 instead of xp would cause this. but you never know with windows. if this is only happening if you go online, first thing i'd suggest is using another browser, if that does it, you know the problem is the browser you're currently using. *

Run chkdsk with /f /r then continue tap the f8 key then select last known good configuration. *

Maybe ur book has 2 rams with 2 diff latency ? It happens if latency arent matching *
