The gpu's probably at fault,thanks,i'll try to overclock it a bit and try again,if it doesn't work gotta get a new one. Another thing i've noticed is though i'm using the same app and the same driver and everything,videos come amazingly well in windows 8. * +

Perhaps. By the way,checked out some details. The gpu in my pc is integrated into the motherboard and uses my ram memory,in short,it's cheap and substandard. No wonder windows 8 keeps crashing. I guess i'll have to upgrade. * +

U think it overclocked to 3.5 or 3.6? have u stress tested ur overclock,it may simply b not getting enough power and it hangs when u increase the load? *
