is my old pc worth hanging on to..Just wondering if it's worth repairing if i can do it cheaply. It is a pentium duel core has digital pci card wireless 2 re-write drives 8 usb's card reader plus wireless mouse and keyboard...I know it's not top spec but was told it really only has a memory problem so if that was cheap enough to do guess i'd have a go....even as a girl...lol * +

repair it if you want to use it for basics otherwise for gaming etc you need a big upgrade * +

There's no point just throwing it away, the parts have value, even if it's not THAT much. RAM is easy to fit. * +

like newt said, installing ram takes very little time and means your not throwing away something that could be used or sold to put the money towards a new pc or shoes and a bag (sexist.gif) * +

an old pc is always good to keep hold of, even if its just used as a back up for files, photos, music etc, it also comes in handy as a spare if a newer pc brakes down and has to be sent away for repair ect * +
