Ok, I have an i3 3220, Ivy Bridge, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600, and a GTX 550Ti, I just ordered a GTX 560Ti, and gonna use my 55 for PhysX only. Thing is, just thinking if my CPU is fast enough, I checkt the net. People in the forums say is very capable but I mean, is it? * +

i got a huge increase upgrading the cpu only in some games i tested. upgraded a i3 2100 paired with a gtx 550 ti to a i7 3770k. * +

i bet the gpu upgrade is a better upgrade for games first you can allways get an i5 etc later. main bottleneck in games still is the 550 ti * +

in dirt 3 i got an extra 10fps on both minimum and avarage fps. gta 4 i got an extra 7 fps on the avarage 
but the tweaked settings i play with i got an 20fps more 
and the cpu usage is 40 percent on 3.5ghz lol thats a bottleneck. * +

farcry 3 is a gpu killer . got a 2-5fps increase in that i did the test on stock clocks to be fair. * +

the 550 is a good physx card. but dont forget that there arent many games with physx support yet but i think it is still worth it seeing the games with physx look stunning. * +

I'm using BF3 as a benchmark to judge my PC. hopefully with the 560Ti I can run it on full ultra. I'm getting the 2GB 560Ti btw. * +
