Hi i managed to setup my laptop, i DISK SENITIZED the hdd, and my best install i had was win xp home edit. 4 now im glad to have it working!! My screen however, isnt what i wanted. The resolution is 800x600, i tried to change it but its stays at the same res. . . Anyone know a workaround? * +

I want to know what the slot is used 4 on the slot on the left of my compaq 6710b. I have an old vodafone mode that plugs in the slot. Whatesle can hooked up: soundcards, graphics card, ??. My machine is old but im learning linux on it as well... * +

I want to upgrade to win 7. i tried a win7 disk but it required some other disk to enable the upgrade. Anyone who know of a workaround? thanx all. * +

Hi guys i Installed sum core drivers. i dont like my current os - xp, but its working well, i even config it to use the internet.. Btw thanx alvars my screen issues are sorted! i have one stuborn hdd issue: i searched hard to find a driver for my hitachi HTS541616J9S200. I even tried the windows hardware update wizard but i got 0 results. * +
