I want to get an SSD drive for my desktop, but I can't find any 3.5 SSD, is there even such a thing? If not how the hell do I put in a 2.5 drive into my case?? * +

btw, writing SSD drive is redundant. You wrote solid state drive drive lol * +

Get an adapter. I would think all retail SSD's come with an adapter. There is no point in making a 3.5'' SSD, so no one does. * +

some cases have 2.5 mounting holes and some ppl use double sided tape. a ssd is light, shock resistant, small etc it doesnt need to be mounted like a hdd. * +

allmost all ssd-s come with a 3.5 adapter exept the notebook upgrade kits with the sata usb adapter etc. * +

They are 2.5 because you don't need the space for a big physical spinning disc. You can stack memory chips on top of chips and fit loads of them inside a small case so you may as well make 2.5 to fit most laptops and just an carrier adaptor for desktops * +
