thanks for the suggestions guys. we were planning on making available some mp3 and mp4 content available for use on modern phones. bluetooth is too slow, so we wanted WiFi. sorted now. my developer friend decided the plan is to have an intranet type server on Windows XP pc so that the phones would be fooled into thinking that its browsing the net. when I see it I could probably describe it better. thanks again *
