Wasup guys, firstly I have an i3 3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 RAM, Gainward GTX 560 Ti 2GB Phantom, Gainward GTX 550 Ti for PhysX, B75 Mobo. I play BF3 on full Ultra, BUT I wana improve fps even a little. So would swapping out my i3 for an i5 3470 do the trick? Or is the i3 right? * +

tacking on more cpu power never hurts. I'd swap out that 550 Ti for a GTX 470 * +

i5 will help bf3 64man servers like quad cores :) i have a 2500k @ 4.6 with a 560ti and run bf3 on high with no issues. mines only 1g and stutters a bit on ultra * +

get a k series i5 that you can oc a 3570k. Games will be using more cores and vram because of the next gen consoles. * +

i made some tests between a i3 and i7 and some games performed alot better. On max settings it almost doubled the performance in gta 4. * +

the i7 kills the i3 even in single core performance because it has higher clockspeed. It will outperform the i5 in some tasks that use the hypertreading virtual cores. * +
