I've got two hdmi port on my LG plasma tv. I've tried switching cables and ports between the ps3 and cable box but the tv doesnt pick up any signals. Usually when theres really no hd signal, there will be a message on my telly saying No Signal. But this time its just black. But on the cable box, it shows 'Television Doesnt Support HDCP. I can confirmed all my cables are working and devices is fine. Ive reset my ps3 audio/video setting too and still nothing happens. * +

BUT, my laptop does work on my tv with any ports and both cables and it does shows image in 1080p resolution. So that eliminate the possibility that my hdmi ports are fried. This problem does my head in. Anyone knows how i can solved this? Much appreciated. * +

The PS3 needs a TV that supports HDCP (copy protection cr*p) when connected via HDMI, so the problem seems to be something to do with that. Maybe there is a separate chip in the TV that handles HDCP, and something is wrong with it? * +

It was working before that and been so for like 2-3yrs. I've not upgraded any softwares on any of the ps3, tv or the cable box. *
