I'm trying to skype but my win 7 pc won't pick up my microphone it says no recording device found. And I tried 3 mic's in the 3rd hole red and in the blue hole. Is there any way of solving this problem? * +

it seems that the onboard holes none of them (3)works? I got usb speakers and now I tried earphones and it says I have no devices conected * +

Start, right click Computer, Manage, Device Manager. If you see an exclamation mark on something, right click it and select Update Driver Software. If you don't see anything, expand Sound and right click your sound card to update the driver. Select update automatically. If none of these things work, go to your sound card or motherboard manufacturers website and download the sound card drivers. * +

Check in the BIOS to see if onboard sound is enabled, that is if you are not using a separate sound card. * +

Something else I just thought of. Right click the sound icon in the bottom right of the taskbar, select Playback Devices and make sure your desired device is set as Default. * +
