the obvious one is the bay, check out ex business laptops like thinkpads, built like a brick outhouse and well priced usually * +

gumtree is your best bet, find goods in your local region no charges, go around and see, agree a price the old fashioned way, forget fleabay with its charges and paypal faff * +
