for now you can use a 7970 or a 7870 to mine coins. doing it on an amd platform will give you roughtly 3 times the amount of number crunching than if you were using a similar green team card. im not sure why they do it better but it is a fact for this kind of thing. * +

anyways for now its the way to go but in a few months your gonna run out of steam as the multi gpu builds start to filter though. some guy created a specific build that will quadruple your number crunching but this will make it harder for them with single gpu or cpu mining machines. as it stands you can make a slight profit from mining atm but soon it will become uneconomical for single gpu users. you will spend more mining than you will get back in coins. so unless your already in posession of * +
