Ok so i got that phony police virus that locks you out of your pc from a tv show streaming site ...i managed to start windows in safe mode and do a system restore and then it started normally and i did a full system scan and got the random ware virus quarintined am just wonderin is my internet security not supposed to remove it instead of quarintine it and is my pc safe now as it the full scan only showed 1virus i have mcafee security * +

McAfee is not very good. I would download Avira anti virus, uninstall McAfee, install Avira, do a full scan with Avira, download Malwarebytes and install, and then do a full scan with that too. * +

That's what I would do and then after that I would consider my computer to be 'safe' again. * +

For a real-time example, VLC media player's set-up file get's detected as an adware by anti-virus and moves the file automotically to the quarantine. You can access the quarantine and restore this file before clearing the folder. Zombie Do the clearing of the quarantine to make your PC 'safe' again. *
