I installed windows 7 on my compaq presario CQ57 laptop it restarted and now it won't boot everytime i switch it on it jus write ''PRESS THE ESC key for startup menu'' on the bottom left. then it keeps on restartin. I can't even boot frm cd... Can any1 help me with this plz plz plz thnx in advance * +

It doesn't give me options.. It only displays that text and restart... And only usin 1 hd * +

Keep pressing delete when starting up to access bios. Sounds to me like u didnt set it to boot from in bios. * +

Should be 1 or 2 section. It should say 1st boot device, 2nd boot dev etc. Set 1st to hdd. * +

It should look like this: First boot device: HDD. Or u can keep 1st as cdrom. But one of the following boot dev must be HDD. * +
