Good day, I have been watching alot of telly lately and have started noticing all the small effects that go into making the complete visual experience we see. Does anyone know what software/hardware is used to produce and create say TV programs and effects shown on telly. Eg the moving background in many tv inserts and shows. * +

That can be anything from visualizations like Milkdrop to software that costs thousands for one license. You best bet would be to contact a producer and ask. * +

I thought the net would have ideas. didn't know the industry was so shut down. surely there's gotta be cool loops, scenic animated backgrounds or vids that one can use and manipulate. * +

3D max?? do they really use that? have never looked at after effects but I will check it out, maybe its the missing link. *
