Howzit guys,I'm running IE 11(I think) and avast on a i7 64 bit system,whenever I'm downloading,be it win updates or apps .I noticed all 8 theads running at 100 percent for about 1 minute from time to time,is this normal or is avast or IE cr*p. * +

I'm only asking this because I'm using default cpu cooler and whenever that happens temps get around 65-70 celsius.....I don't think thats a good thing.Your input is appreciated. * +

It happens even with Google Chrome. My advice is to disable all the plugins and/or background programs that are not needed. Be sure to look at those pesky bug*er's hiding in the task bar. * +

@newt182,i took your 'link advice and did it on my pc,and it seems that whenever my system hits 8 threads(at 100 percent)spd.exe..,avastSvc.exe,and sidebar.exe are always in the top 10 or 5.Don't know what spd.exe is but its always the top dog.Avast is my trusted AV so I let it pass,and as for gadgets i'l give Rainmeter a shot.Any info on spd.exe is much appreciated. * +
