I have read through so many posts concerning how different ppl download thru torrents or p2p. What I think would help alot of us in the forum is if all the knowledgable ones tell us what they run on their sysytem and how good their systems are so that we dont all feel so bad. So please you guys, Reaper, djdecki, cyberj, Rv and all those others that I cant think of now. * +

I am downloading with BitComet but at low speeds (3-5 kb/s) YF is running and I use Opera 9Beta. P2P is Ares. My system is AMD 3.5 (64bit) 2gig ram. Asus SLI Deluxe Mobo. Samsung 3g ZV30 cell * +

may as well add to this lmao downlad stuff using kazaa and limewire, not really tried any torrent sites. pc is a compaq laptop 1.8ghz, 512mb ram, 60gig HD using n6630 with 2g sim ~will try 3g when I top up~ download speeds vary from around 3 up 5.5kbs will update when 3g enabled.......if orange has increased its coverage to fife lol

I also get download speeds between 3-5 kbps with bitcomet. I have a nokia 7210, s40 v1. You guys should really subscribe to 3g services. Those speeds are just wrong for 3 G phones. * +

4 ppl who get 3-5kbs use ur net round 2 to 6 in da mornin i used 2 get round 6_7kbs an my bra uses download express it downloads 400% faster an he used 2 get 20_25kbs

I dont really think it has anything to do with your computer but i hav pentium 4. 3.0ghz 1gig ram 280gig harddrive i use nokia 6630 which is 3G enabled even tho i didnt actually buy a 3G sim. I mostly use websites and a download manager called netpumper, along with your freedom basic package i get speeds of up to 32kbps. Now for small downloads i dont use your freedom and i use a download * +

Manager called reget. Now i change it to identify it as opera and proxy 196.6.128.12. Then i get speeds of up to 45kbps. I hardly use torrents but i use bitcomet get speeds off 11kbps to 22kbps with your freedom. I only use limewire but it doesnt wanna connect for me anymore but when it did got speeds of 32kbps. And ya my phone is connect with cable not blue tooth * +
