im on contract with orange, and last month they barred my phone 4 non payment so last month i paid it off and asked for the 5 pound a month orange bundle from cust serv i checked my account online the next day and it said pay as you use data so i phoned cust serv again and she said that the cust serv rep (which was in abroad) had put it on to be activated in AUGUST so i asked for it to be put on * +

again and thought nothing of it until last week when i got a bill in for 600 pounds for gprs usage i phoned cust serv again and he said that he sent an appeal 4 sum team to look at and that my phone wudnt be barred during this process. And my phone was barred and i dnt want to pay for sumthing i shouldnt have been charged for has any1 any advice as to where i can go to get help * +

Dear God, you have my sympathies.. I can only suggest Ofcom really as the regulator for the telecoms industry, although it'd be a hell of a process to go through - but it's a good idea to tell Customer 'Services' that you've been in touch with them. Somewhere in this forum is the email addy of the head honcho at Orange, it'd be a good idea to email him, or drop his name in conversations with them. * +

And no, unfortunately, I can't remember where in the forum it is, it's in one of the Orange complaint topics, but I can't remember what it's called. It being late on friday night, I don't feel like hunting it down, but if I come across it I'll post it, or maybe someone who knows it and reads this topic will post. * +

they have lied to me on many occasions thanx 4 mentioning ofcom i asked at phones4u he said go to citizens advice and i think i have email for oranges CEO somewhere but when i emailed him it took 2 months 4 a reply * +

make sure you record any future conversations with them. Hopefully they will sort it for you. * +

request copies of all your phone conversations with them. if they wont give get a solicitor as your entitled under data protection act. * +
