The animal package for free texts is actually worse than the previous version of the tariff, as you get charged 20p per minute for calls instead of 15p. The only good new tariff is the canary package which gives you 120 off-peak xnet minutes for a 10 pound top-up. This is better than O2's Talkalotmore but not quite as good as Vodafone's stop the clock for heavy or very light users. *
