'Packet data' is the term for the GPRS connection that enables you to connect to wap or web via your mobile. If you're here on the mobile in question, you already have it, (unless you're here on dial-up) but if it's for a different phone, contact your network service provider and they should send you the settings. * +

Data sent via GPRS, Internet and some other kinds of digital networks is sent as (small) packets of data. However, I do believe that what is discussed in this thread is PACKET DATA used as a marketing term for a particular service provided by a phone company. * +

Nice definition, but how can he use that so well put 2gether definition 2 connect 2 the net. As was said earlier contact ur service provider. They should give u the data bearer settings if u dont already have it. *
