CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF A 3G PHONE HAS GSM DIAL UP SETTING FOR WAP ? COS I HAVE 300 FREE WAP MINS A MONTH ON MY OLD O2 SIM AND MIGHT BE GETTING A 3G HANDSET. * +

I KNOW YOU CAN SWITCH BETWEEN 3G AND GPRS BUT JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU CAN SWITCH TO GSM DIAL UP, BET YOU CAN'T COS I DON'T THINK A 3G PHONE HAS GSM SETTINGS, SO AM I RIGHT IN SAYING THIS ? * +

no you cant use dial up connection in new 3g phones * +

Sony k600i and k608i both old 3g phones that both do dail up i had them both on orange years ago and used to use dial up when gprs/3g was down dont know of any others * +

just checked my n70 can manualy set gprs and 3g but no dial up no option for it anywhere * +

There is a plethora of 3G phones with dial up.I suggest you go to a website that lists device specifications.If CSD or HSCSD is specified then the phone has dial up capabilities. *
