what iris said. you can buy pre-paid sims in the UK. will probably work out cheaper than those you mentioned although they probably all have sister networks. * +

I have 2, cheapy nokia and a cr*ppy lg kp500 cookie, i use the lybamobile when i call my friend frm here cos its only 10p per min, i'm not bothered abt the call cost cos i only need 2 make the 1 call so he can pick me up frm the airport * +

it would be 2 pounds per minute from o2 and 1.50pound from t-mobile. for further information how to make a call while abroad call 2202 from 02 phone. because i dont know if philiphines is a direct dial country. if its not than you have to dial something like star hash 1 something. but 2202 has all the info * +
