going to India for around a month and i will be taking a unlocked Nokia e71 with me. can anyone in India recommend a none contract plan... a pay n go plan which can give me internet on my e71 for a month without costing me too much? Which network and which price plan please? I will be in Kolkatta incase network coverage would be a issue. Minutes and text are not important I just need net to keep intouch online. Thanks. * +

all network has cheap gprs in india, arnd 2 dollar would give you 2 gb in most network, 6gb in tata docomo , unlimted gprs in aircel, but speed would be edge like, 3G is only on bsnl network. * +

If speed is issue then Airtel would be better than other operators. It is providing 2GB data for 1 month in 98 INR. * +

try private operators, u might need to show additional documents to show perpose and duration you want to stay in india. terrif is not at all a problem most operators provide 2g data plan for 2-5 usd per month * +

my mum did have I.D issues in getting a sim when she went to India earlier this year. ive not been for 10 years so im sure there are many changes... would i have issues getting a Airtel pay n go sim? that offer seems fine adnan, thank u all for your replies * +
