If ur consider the 3 mifi its a Huawei E5830 and hardware is restricted to 3.6mb speed but evenso if 3 signal fails you can unlock it in similar way to a phone and change network..atm uk tesco are offer huawei E1750 for 20quid-a Qualcomm 6290 brain and its 7.2mb speed..its locked to tmobile but can unlock for free..not wifi but can push it into a router thats support such mobile devices *
