k heres what it is, ive got a nokia 5800, love the phone, but sme1 spilt a bowl of flippin water the other day! It turns on nw, bt theres still water in the screen and probably the rest of the phone, how do i go about fixing this? *

The best thing to do is to remove the battery and leave it in an airing cupboard overnight - DO NOT try fast-drying methods like hairdryers and radiators as these cause the bubbles of water to burst and leave residue on contacts and the PCB. I've also heard that a bag of dry rice or silica gel are good (if slower) alternatives for the drying process. *

garion's right remove battery and leave it in a bag or tub of rice it worked for me *

dont leave in a bag as it can cause condensation and further problems, iv always found taking it apart as far as you can an just leave in a warm dry place, to dry out naturaly, forever getting beer spilt on my phones in pubs got a habit of putting it on a pub table *
