i stated a new sim topped it up and then later that night got a message for short code 61718 cost me 25p i txted back STOPALL and not had anymore, is there anyway i can findout if the number i have is a recycled number? my number starts 07774 if that any help. thank you for reading my post * +

I doubt you can find that out because the number may even have come from a different network and most numbers are automatically recycled after 6 months so it is a fair guess that your number would be recycled. * +

Just tell your network and they will block it, but did you do anything on the net and give your number * +

All you need to do is send a message that says STOP .. Thats it all numbers are held for 6months and then released * +

didnt give out my name and never clicked on any link just went on vodafone live home page and then came out of it, the message i got from short code 61718 lfc news:fsg and lfc have confirmed kenny dalglish as team manger after he signed a 3 year deal, steve clarke has signed a three year contract im reporting liverpool fc and the short code company to ofcom on monday i may also contact bbc * +

watch dog ive phoned liverpool fc and was told by a rude woman hard mate there nothing you can do about our msg services. and i ment didnt give out my number and not as i said my name *
