what network is it, htc phones usualy auto setup, put a sim in and it finds the settings its self, ive got a wierd feeling your on 3uk, they have a habbit of scr*wing around with them, htc have an operating system like a laptop, therefore its like pcworld scr*wing about with windows7, if this is the case take it into 3shop, get them to fix there errors * +
