I have just bought a Nokia C1-01 but it is locked to 02 network. Could anyone here please help me to unlock it? * +

I have the same phone. That was locked to o2 it was a contract phone. I got my girlfreind a o2 pay monthly coustomer! To phone them and ask for the unlock code and they did it free! But took a gud month to get the unlock code! Nd then my orange sim worked. But i couldnt use wap. As o2 locked c3-o1's don't allow it! * +

Sim free phones gotta be better than unlocking! As u can use any sim! * +

u can in put the Orange settings manually I'm sure... well I was able to do it with older Nokias... now days I don't bother with Nokias so aint sure what configuration settings are like but usually u can just google them n manually put them in the phone * +

and yeah sim free phones already come unlocked I.E from Carphone Warehouse but sometimes they can be more pricey but at least its brand new... but many many people buy phones n don't get that some are locked *
