android based on linux, it is not linux. its not like apt-get commands will work in android terminal. * +

if i'm not mistaken android is basically java that runs on top of a modified linux kernel and it doesn't follow file hierarchy standards just like linux distros, while ubuntu is.. well, ubuntu as we knoe it. i'll choose the 'real' linux not java if i have to choose. * +
