I cannot delete anything from my 8GIG memory card. I cannot format it. All I can read is 'READ-ONLY' so I can't delete, I can't format. Atleast in a Nokia, and a Samsung I can access files stored in the m/card but on a blackberry the phone does not even recognize there is a m/card inserted. Does anyone know how to remove this 'READ-ONLY' thing on the card? * +

I have a Acer notebook with Windows XP, and yes I can play videos or listen to music but I want to delete everything or format it sothat I can download again with BIS on a bb. How does one get to do these things * +

see if it will scan and fix. right click over your card goto properties/something? and click scan and fix but tick scan for bad sectors first. * +

My cousin came by, and opened my notebook then told me the memory card is corrupted and damaged and offered me her 4GIG which she has just purchased. But a few munites later I see her putting my 'damaged' card into her phone. She went to the loo and when I check her phone it says that there is 7.4GIG free space * +

I confronted her and she told me I said I was gonna throw it away anyway. Yes I was gonna throw it away if it was damaged. She told I should choose to get my memory card back or take her old samsung galaxy y. I chose the phone. Happy ending. Now I want her to teach me how she formated that card. Thnx Crail. She used a computer to solve it * +
