I have a question about free Orange PAYG sims.If you get one, do you need to top up the sim before you can recieve calls or do you just need to register the sim to be able to recieve calls? * +

You dont need to register the sim, but i'm not sure about topping up, I think u will have to. Read the leaflet that comes with your sim card or check their website. * +

I had a look on the website at http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/terms but it doesn't mention anything about it. The free sim section has details of a promotion from 2011 so it seems outdated. Do you know where the terms would be on Orange's website? * +

I know Orange do Tiny Top Ups so u can do a topup of just a quid even if u had to top up something... * +

of course you have to register a free sim to activate it. dont see why youd need to put credit on to recieve calls either. * +

You don't always have to register a sim card! I didn't with ee and now i'm on asda you don't have to register it either, it's just an option if you want to or not. * +

Sometimes sim cards come with a pound already on them, but i'm not sure if their do it anymore. * +
