most changes are behind the scenes, improvements to rendering speeds, addition of new web protocols etc. you will find 12 a lot better if your fone has enough ram to run it. google for an opera 10 change log to get a listing of features added after 8.65 *

opera 12 is better but you may have to delete a lot of apps to run it *

don't talk nonsense.. deleting apps can't increase your ram... as long as your fone comes with 60mb's you'll be fine. below that it'll work for a few pages before choking itself to death. *
