Hi,everybody! I've got 1 question for you... I got SonyEricsson K500i with (pop3,imap4,smtp) e-mail client. What does it mean and what's the difference between pop3,imap4 and smtp? Is it free to send mail like this and if it's not,how much does it cost? Thanx in advance... * +

Pop3 is an email where u can send and recieve emails with attatchments like pics ringtones vids etc, depends which network yr on bout cost at the mo tescos is free im not sure wot imap nd stmp are. * +

pop3 stands for post office protocol, and imap stands for internet mail access protocol... pop3 only allows access to 1 account whereas imap is able to access multiple accounts... Imap is also newer than pop3... smtp is for outgoing mail, and is used by both protocols... Thats what I think anyway, feel free to enlighten me if im wrong *
