Subject: Rumbling noise at low revs only???

i had an almera 1.4 si years ago it died a horrible death it used to jump out of gears, that was on its second gearbox, its first gearbox spat out its main drive bearing,its clutch went and went to a nissan specialist on second attempt to put a clutch in shortly after the gearbox fell off, clutch number 3 fitted and box back on gave bearing trouble then clutch 4 with new box, it was a comfy quick motor underrated and often overlooked at the time, but a fuel spill on a dual carraigeway seen an end to that, brakes dont work too well when the cars sliding down the road on its roof not many about nowadays
