Mandain, the iPod touch is one of my favourite things that I own, it does lots of things well - photos, video, internet browsing, YouTube viewing, games and obviously it plays music, but if all the other things it can do don't really matter to you, then you can buy MP3 players with fewer functions that have far superior sound. The Sony 'X' and 'S' series Walkmans for example. They also do more than just music, but they do music far better than any iPod.
