There are a thousand rock punk or alternative tunes that would have done the job, anti establishment, anti mainstream which is the point. To beat Cowell at the game he reinvented is like getting a checkmate against Kasparov. Although little will change. The mainstream will always suck and smarter people than the general dross that support it will always challenge it.
