Crocodile burger from a so-called 'gastro-pub' - utter sh*t; under-seasoned pink mush in a semi-burnt brioche bun.
Fish and chips is always a massive disappointment. You want a nicely cooked piece of fish in some light and crispy batter with some good quality chips. What you always end up with is an overcooked bit of white mush inside some greasy batter that tastes bitter because the oil's old and/or burnt. Why does it always come on a mountain of really shit chips? Soggy, greasy, and most of them are 'toenail' chips, the hard as fuck little end bits that shatter your entire face when you bite down on them.You should be a food critic, Id totally follow your posts.
