Something like 50 plus people are murdered in south africa every day. A flood killing 300 people is obviously bad, any loss is bad when people suffer. The problem I have is there is no lockdown for the crime, there is no emergency declared it is just ignored by the government like it is not happening and the media jumps all over stuff like this when they should be focusing on the crime every single day. Government calling this flood a catastrophic disaster but what are they calling the crime, corruption and unemployment? The fundamental issues like safety and security are ignored everything is fine until a flood or stupid virus pops up
