Subject: midi keyboard problem

i got a roland pcr-m30 and have tried it on xp, windows 7 and the latest mac software. I have tried diffrent programs like reason, fl, pro tools and nothing! The computer reckonises its there but the music software don't. It says no midi input when there is?
