im perfectly happy to keep using mechanical drives especiallas they have managed to increase overall densety by 50+ times soon enough you will be able to buy 50 terrabyte drives that are just as fast as ssd's for retreaving data... reason being if the data is 50 times denser then the read times shorten by 50 times that will make then faster than any current ssd.Thats true but were mechanical drives fail is seek time .
