Recently my samsung external harddrive has been giving me problems, whenever i plug it into my laptop it says usb not recognized ive tried everything from restarting my laptop, to using different usb ports but i get the same results worst part is it doesnt even appear in the disk management options, i was thinking of trying a jumper on the harddrive but was worried about voiding and warranty, should i just try a jumper or try it into another computer?i had this problem,a yr ago!its not ur laptop/driver problem.smth is wrong in ur harddrive or data cable u use.check it!
